Repaired all of the rusted areas, Used the spare fenders I had to make replacement sections

Hood and cowl induction scoop are coming along. Used 16 gauge steel to fabricate the scoop, it follows the factory hoodlines

Again used spare front fenders to make new rear wheel arches and lower sections.

Same thing for the driver side, spare fenders put to good use

After a trip to the drag strip, discovered that the old gas tank was full of rust.
The car just shut off at 3/4 track each pass, found the fuel filter was so clogged that the carb bowls ran dry before the fuel pump could refill them

Took care of that problem.
Used more of the 16 gauge steel I bought to fabricate a new trunk pan and 3 gal fuel cell.
Picture looks funny because I had just sprayed the undercoating on it
Just in case anyone is curious, the formula for figuring out how big to make your tank to hold X amount of fuel is
LxWxH\231

You can just see the bottom of the fuel cell under the car

Ripped out the front seats, factory shifter, and what was left of the dash pad and installed a new Summit seat and B&M Z-Gate shifter

Seat fit perfect, ordered the NHRA approved dual locking sliders instead of mounting the seat solid

Replaced the factory shifter with this B&M Z-Gate shifter
