Here are the finished heads back from the machine shop, I decided to go ahead and paint the block and heads Ford Red and the valve covers and air cleaner black.

These are CAT brand Aluminum extruded roller rockers, couldn't beat the price of $150 with Polylocs included.Notice the 3/8 screw-in studs and guide plates.

Intake ports after I fully ported them. I finished them out with 80 grit sanding drums instead of polishing them like I did the exhaust ports.

Here are the 1.94 and 1.6 Chevy valves, notice how close they come to touching. There is no way 2.02 valves would have fit in these heads. In fact the valves come very close to the spark plug hole.

This is a before pic of the factory dash.

This is what it looks like at the moment, I have removed the factory dash, heater blower assy, wiper motor, and the factory wiring harness. The new dash will a one piece lightweight one with only a tach, nessesary guages and aircraft style toggle switches.

Here is the new one piece, much lighter dash with holes for the steering column, Oil, Water, Amps, and the lower guage is engine vacuum.

Another shot from the driver side, dash is now welded in place and will be covered with black vinyl

Here is the dash covered with 1/2 in dense foam to give the dash a soft padded feel

Here is the dash covered with lightweight vinyl and the guages mounted. Tach and steering column are next

Here is a closeup of the gauges

Here is the engine bay in work being stripped and prepped for new paint.

Here is a closer shot of the driverside wheel well

Shot of the hood with the steel cowl induction scoop I made

And from the rear

Pic from the side to show the height of the cowl scoop

Here are a couple sets of slicks my buddy Chris gave me. They are Hoosier 26x8 and 28X9 and are used but still have enough tread left for me to make a few test and tune runs on them.
